Netflix streaming has been one of Microsoft's proud selling points of having a Xbox Live Gold membership. Sony has now announced that next month Playstation 3 owners are getting it too. Not good news for Microsoft, they have since said that at least for the time being, they are still going to require users pay for their Gold membership for their users to get access to Netflix. The PS3 Netflix solution isn't quite as elegant as the 360 version, at least not yet. When the service launches on the PS3 you'll have to use a Netflix "boot disc" in the system when you want to watch something. Which by the way you can get signed up for here.
