Samsung dops the hammer on OLED

OLED, the screen technology that has been threatening to replace all of your LCD displays relentlessly from the sidelines for what seems like forever now. Over the past year we've gotten a few small screen devices to use the gorgeous tech, most recently is the Zune HD. In this video a Samsung tech shows off this new flexible OLED screen by bending it of course, but also shows the strength of the display by hitting it with a mallet! Amazingly the 2.8-inch, 0.01 ounce, 20 micrometer thick display takes the licking and keeps on ticking, scratch free.
