Nintendo goes to the dark side on May 9th

Nintendo's Wii has been available in black overseas for awhile now. Americans have had the option of importing, but that was an expensive option up till now. Nintendo has finally announced that they will be launching the black Wii on May 9th in North America for $199. This price is also reflecting a sort of price drop for both colors of Wii systems, as this price not only includes the standard Wii Sports game, but also Wii Sports Resort and a system color-matching MotionPlus adapter and nunchuck.

Cops love the Wii

Back in March, the Lakeland, Florida police force busted a known drug dealer in the area and raided his house. After finding drugs, weapons and stolen property, they apparently decided to see if there was any drugs in the residents Wii. We all know that you have to load up Wii Bowling to make double sure that there isn't any illegal substances hidden in there somewhere. Well, 9 hours later they concluded their search of the console. Unfortunately all of this was caught on a security camera that they missed when searching, now they're in a smidge of trouble. One question I have is, how does anybody play a 9 hour Wii marathon without the batteries dying multiple times? Maybe in their searching they found the home owners 'stash' of AA's.
