PhotoSketch: Photoshop for the masses

Ok, so technically the title is 'PhotoSketch: Internet Image Montage'. But if this works half as good as demo'd the net is going to be filled with picture mashups, ok wait it kind of already is, but now they will be high quality's mashes.

PhotoSketch is an internet-based program that takes a roughly drawn sketch from a user, find images on the net matching each drawn element, then seamlessly merge it all into a single image.

Pretty unbelievable stuff, but check the video for a demonstration:

The authors of the program are Tao Chen, Ming-Ming Cheng, Ping Tan, Ariel Shamir, and Shi-Min Hu, from the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, and the National University of Singapore. They presented it at Siggraph Asia 2009.
